Lots of parents want to take their children along for bike rides. Not only is it practical in getting exercise and reducing your reliance on fossil fuels, but it’s a great way to get children excited about bikes. Unfortunately, buying a bike, a stroller, and a trailer attachment for your stroller can be expensive. On top of that, many people (us included) are worried about the safety of having children in a stroller behind their bikes; putting children in front of you while you are riding makes them more visible and makes the ride more enjoyable for them.

This year at Interbike we tested out a great bike/stroller combination called the Zigo Leader, and were really impressed. Not only is the Leader a bike/stroller combination, it can also function as just a bike or just a stroller. On top of that, when it is in combination mode, the kids are right in front of you where it’s safe.
